HOW WE GET THESE RATES

Rates you cannot negotiate alone.

A single store shipping a few hundred orders a month gets retail pricing with a small discount. Pooled across every brand we fulfill for, the same orders land in a different tier entirely.

FIG 01

POOLED VOLUME

Every brand we ship for rolls into one account with each carrier. Your 800 orders a month are priced like tens of thousands.

FIG 02

RENEGOTIATED AS WE GROW

Carrier contracts are not set and forgotten. We go back to UPS, FedEx, USPS and DHL as volume climbs, and better terms pass straight through to you.

FIG 03

RATE-SHOPPED PER ORDER

Every order is checked across carriers and service levels for the cheapest option that still meets the delivery promise. No default carrier tax.

FIG 04

HOUSTON ZONES

Central location means more orders ship in zones 2 to 5 instead of 7 and 8. Lower zones, lower rates, and 2-day ground reach to most of the US.

WHAT COMES BACK

A reply you can act on.

No discovery call to book, no deck. A written breakdown of what your package costs to ship with us and where the savings come from.

  • Rates by carrier and service level

UPS, FedEx, USPS and DHL for your exact package, not a blended average.

  • The carrier mix we would use

Which service wins for your destinations, and where a regional or USPS option beats the big two.

  • Estimated monthly savings

Your rate today versus ours, multiplied by your volume. A number you can put in a spreadsheet.

  • Packaging notes

If dimensional weight is setting your price, we tell you what box change would drop it.

FAQ

Questions about shipping rates

Q01

Is this an instant quote?

No, and on purpose. Carrier pricing depends on your zone mix, residential surcharges, package profile and the rate tier your volume lands in. A number generated on a web page would be wrong often enough to be useless. You give us one typical package and your volume, and a person replies within one business day with real rates by carrier and service level.

Q02

Why are your rates lower than what I get on my own?

Volume. Carriers price on total shipments, and we pool every brand we fulfill for into one account with each carrier. That puts our clients in discount tiers a single store shipping a few hundred orders a month cannot reach on its own. We renegotiate those contracts as our volume grows, and every improvement flows through to you.

Q03

Do I have to move my fulfillment to Asfar to get these rates?

Our negotiated rates apply to orders we pick, pack and ship from our Houston warehouse. The rate check is the first step: if the savings are real for your package profile, we walk through what moving fulfillment to Houston would look like. There is no commitment in asking.

Q04

Can I keep my own UPS or FedEx account?

Yes. Some brands have a strong contract already. Send us what you pay today and we will tell you honestly whether our rates beat it. If your own account is cheaper for your profile, we ship on it and you still get the pick, pack and same-day processing.

Q05

What is billable weight and why does the form show it?

Carriers charge the greater of a package's actual weight and its dimensional weight (length times width times height divided by 139 on commercial accounts). For light, bulky products the box size sets the price, not the scale. The form shows which one applies to your package so you know where the savings come from: rates, packaging, or both.

Q06

What do I get back?

Rates for your package across UPS, FedEx, USPS and DHL by service level, the carrier mix we would use for your destinations, an estimated monthly saving against what you pay now, and a note on packaging changes if dimensional weight is driving your cost.
